02. Neck, Head and Jaw Pain Protocol

When addressing neck, head or jaw pain from a multi-dimensional perspective, it is important to not only include posture, movement and breathing re-training (particularly at the rib cage and pelvis which is the foundation of the neck, head and jaw) but to also reduce tissue inflammation, which in many cases is driving a significant portion of the pain response and neuromuscular tension. This is where nutritional integration is key.

What is often underappreciated when dealing with neck, head or jaw pain is the influence of your bite on your postural alignment. Your vision and hearing patterns can also have a profound influence on this region as well! Furthermore, there can also be underlying heart, mind and soul patterns that require unraveling to fully unwind and unload your neck, head and jaw.

There are 5 phases to this protocol, each ~ 2-3 weeks in duration taking a total of approximately 12+ weeks.

  • Depending on your unique baseline status, you may require more or less time to successfully complete each phase. Take the amount of time you need.
  • Ideally, you would perform all components of the protocol but if this is not feasible for you, simply do what you can. For healing really chronic conditions, you will likely require more time beyond what is specified in this protocol but the principles you learn from it and keep up with can take you there.
  • Use your journal, accessed at the bottom of the page, to chart your progress and take notes.
  • Sample schedules are included for you to follow throughout each phase.
  • Our outlines suggest returning to knowledge items every other day, but you may take whatever time you need to explore.

If you prefer to perform the components of this protocol at your own discretion and/or use your testing technique to determine which parts are priority for you, here is the full Master Guide item list that comprises this protocol:

Important Tips:
  • The biggest variability amongst protocol participants will be your nutritional compliance ability. Do the best you can but if you are having difficulty it is recommended you consult Removing Blocks to Nutritional Changes or even do the Removing Blocks to Nutritional Changes Protocol.
    • Each phase has different nutritional focuses. Ideally, you would continue with each dietary recommendation throughout the remainder of the protocol as they build upon one another. If this is not feasible, do what is for you at this time.
  • On each item page there will likely be different dosage recommendations from what is on the protocol outline. Perform according to the instructions provided in this protocol. Adapt as needed. Optionally, use your testing technique to determine which specific items and what dosage is best for you.
  • If you are having a hard time following the protocol or meeting the resonance checkpoints, consider:
    • Scheduling a 1:1 consulting session to individually support your unique needs and answer any questions you have
    • Submitting a question for the Weekly Q&A  for guidance
