01. Resourcing Safety Meditation

This meditation supports you in resourcing safety within yourself on all levels of your being.

One of the primary roots of suffering, dis-ease and incoherent resonance is an underlying belief that you are not safe and under a chronic level of threat. Usually, this perception is associated with any type of past (including ancestral trauma) or present trauma that has not been completely resolved and/or is still playing out in real time. 

When you chronically do not perceive you are safe, your mood, sleep, immune system, autonomic nervous system, energy, digestion, sensitivity to the world around you and pain experience all become dysregulated making it difficult for you to function and engage in meaningful social interaction creating a perpetual vicious cycle. 

It is paramount that your body-heart-mind-soul all are on the same page and in agreement that you are indeed safe and sound, in both actual and perceived reality, to support optimal healing. Whether you have never known the feeling of safety and/or are addressing this theme in your life now, may this support you in choosing to direct your life force and intention towards experiencing it now.

Preparation Recommendations
  • Set your Intention. Use this or adapt to create your own:
    • “I set the intention to allow and embody the sense of safety within myself so I may feel safe and secure and can resource this sense of safety in the future when I need it.”
    • State your intention out loud and write it down or in your journal to increase the power of this meditation.
  • Location 
    • A quiet and safe space where you will be undisturbed is ideal.
    • As you practice this meditation you can perform it at any time and anywhere you feel comfortable.

Perform this meditation 1-3x/day for the next 4 days, and then as often as desired. *Unless otherwise directed

    • As you become familiar with this meditation process you have the option of performing it independently without audio guidance.
