01. Hydration Foundations

In general, it is recommended that lemon/lime water be your primary hydration staple doing 16-32 oz immediately upon waking, a minimum of 40 oz during the day and another 16 oz in the evening. This may fluctuate depending on your weight and other sources of liquids such as smoothies, juices, teas, broths and even fruits and veggies. Likewise, if you are consuming caffeine, alcohol, extra salt, exercise and/or perspire a lot you may need to increase your hydration levels.

Another rule of thumb is to drink ~½ your body weight in ounces of water a day. Again, this may fluctuate if you lead an active lifestyle, consume extra salt or diuretic beverages like coffee or alcohol, on a regular basis.

Remember water is the most important thing! You need water because you are mostly made of water!  When you are trying to detox and release the junk, you have to give your cells the opportunity to physically excrete these toxins. Water is one of the main vehicles supporting this process.

Water also serves as a foundation to store all the new and improved information your body is receiving. This is key for integration. Your resonance is translated through the water of your body and your body recognizes the new resonance patterns, restructuring the molecules to support you.
