02. Troublemaker Foods, Beverages and Substance Elimination

Below describes the relative level of importance for eliminating certain foods, beverages and additives in your diet. Many of us are not even aware that these foods are actually unhealthy for us and/or the degree that they are present in what we regularly consume.

Generally, these items feed pathogens, are toxic to your body and/or have a high fat content promoting inflammation, pain, fatigue, emotional dysregulation, poor sleep, digestive problems and the list goes on and on. Too much fat (even healthy fat) thickens your blood, reduces oxygen and distracts your liver from being able to detoxify your body.

Review the supporting rationale below if you what to understand why it is best to eliminate these things.

It is recommended for you to pick a level that you can reasonably manage to start and then expand from there. You may also be able to completely eliminate some levels and partially at others.

  • Level 1 lists the most critical items to remove from your diet.
  • Level 6 lists the least crucial items to remove, relatively speaking.
  • Elimination of these items within any level can make significant improvements in your health.
  • Individuals who have chronic illness and/or are sensitive most likely need to eliminate all levels.

Browse the following levels (1-6) or use your testing technique to determine if there are specific categories that are most important for you to eliminate first. Make at least 1 adjustment in the next 1-2 days and maintain that adjustment for at least 2 weeks. *Unless directed otherwise

Keep in mind it takes...

  • 9-11 days for gluten and 7-9 days for eggs to exit your blood, lymph and gut.
  • 11-13 days for dairy residue to leave your gut.
  • 90 days to fully remove eggs, dairy and gluten substances from your liver.
