04. Rose Sun Meditation

This meditation (adapted from the Vesica Institute Essentials and Practices of Spiritual Science course) supports emotional coherence by organizing awareness in your heart center, a region essential for emotional regulation, relational attunement and compassion. By establishing a stable, coherent field in this area, the practice clarifies emotional signals and supports responses that emerge from resonance rather than reactivity. Over time, this strengthens your capacity to remain open, neutral and present in connection with yourself and others.

Duration: Begin with at least 5 minutes while learning the practice. Once familiar, this exercise can be used as needed throughout daily life.

Preparation Recommendations
  • Set your Intention. Use this or adapt to create your own:
    • “I set the intention to cultivate emotional coherence by stabilizing awareness in my heart center, supporting openness, balance and resonant connection.”
    • State your intention out loud and write it down or in your journal to increase the power of this meditation.
  • Location 
    • A quiet and safe space where you will be undisturbed is ideal.
    • As you practice this meditation you can perform it at any time and anywhere you feel comfortable.

Throughout your day:

  • Hold on to this feeling of clarity of will and action. Monitor it carefully.
  • Take note of how your impulses and actions become more regulated and where you still may require additional coherence to optimally direct your will.  

Perform this meditation 1-3x/day for the next 5 days, and then as often as desired. *Unless otherwise directed
