16. Supplements-Sinusitis/Sinus Infections/Lung Infections

This Medical Medium recommended supplement protocol is intended for those experiencing sinusitis, sinus infections and/or lung infections. Typically, these are caused by chronic underlying strep bacteria which over time can create scar tissue and/or polyps. Toxic fragrances such as air fresheners, scented candles, perfumes or colognes can exacerbate these conditions.

Because your liver is at the heart of your detox experience, it is recommended to do the Liver Detox Protocol to fully address your pain issues.

  • It can be extremely confusing and overwhelming to be a supplement consumer. There are so many products out there of which many have undesirable additives and may not contain adequate dosages to actually be therapeutic. Please refer to the Problematic Supplement Self-Reflection to take a good analysis of your current supplements.
  • It is not uncommon to be on 10-20 different supplements at a time, even to just maintain optimal health let alone facilitate healing and detox. Your amount may vary depending on your individual needs and circumstances.
  • If you are sensitive or have a lot of symptoms and health issues, it is suggested that you introduce 1 supplement at a time at a low dose and gradually increase as tolerated. Wait ~3-5 days before adding another supplement.
  • Supplements facilitate detoxification. Thus it is very important that you are properly hydrated to be able to appropriately eliminate toxins through your bowel and bladder. Otherwise they will stay in your system perpetuating dis-ease.

You can address chronic sinus, sinusitis and/or lung infections using the following nutritional strategies.

Shock Therapy Protocols

The following shock therapy protocols can be effective tools for shifting chronic sinus infections.

In addition to their therapeutic value, these interventions may also act as diagnostic indicators. If you experience:

  • A temporary increase in symptoms (healing response), or
  • A noticeable reduction in symptoms

This suggests that a chronic infection could be contributing to your condition.

You may need to try multiple therapies — and repeat some — to achieve results. Nutritional strategies, structural contributors and dietary changes often need to be addressed concurrently.

Dosage Guidance

  • Begin with one therapy at a time.
  • If using multiple therapies in a single day, space them at least 15 minutes apart.

For sensitive individuals:

  • Start with ½ to 1 dose, 1–2 times per day.
  • Gradually increase towards the specific protocol frequency every 2–4 waking hours (4–8x/day) as tolerated.

If symptoms intensify:

  • Reduce the dose by half.
  • Continue reducing until tolerated.

Important: A symptom increase can indicate that the therapy is highly effective for your specific infection. The key is finding the highest dose you can tolerate and building gradually.
