02. Emotional Energy Maintenance Meditation

Managing your energy through this meditation allows you to maximize your emotional awareness while clearing any stuck energy so you may remain centered and clear within yourself. Holding onto or denying yourself of healthy expression of emotions, knowingly or unknowingly, clogs you and your energy flow.

Emotional energy is just energy, we determine if it is good or bad and if it has a story attached to it or not. If you acknowledge and listen without judgment or attachment, you may utilize, learn from and transform emotional energy to inform, serve and support you. This may be new to you as we typically are conditioned to repress, suppress or deny the majority of emotions and feelings that we have. This way of being is not your fault but it does impact how well you use your energy and understand your emotions such as what you are feeling and why.

In this maintenance technique, you will intentionally be drawing up whatever emotional energy you have stored in the body that is ready to move right now so it may be moved and transformed. While there are other techniques that go into more processing, feeling, experiencing and channeling emotional energy, this meditation focuses on more brief gentle acknowledgment, transmuting and transforming the energy so you may quickly feel clear and more centered in yourself. 

As you clear and transform any stuck, congested or old energy from within your body, you make space and open up to the ability to feel and use emotional energy in a new way. This allows you to feel, sense and experience more of life while remaining grounded, aware of yourself and centered.

Preparation Recommendations
  • Set your Intention. Use this or adapt to create your own:
    • “I set the intention to acknowledge, clear and transform any stuck emotional energy within me and make space to experience and express my emotions in a healthy way to align with all that is in my highest and greatest good.”
    • If you typically have a hard time labeling your emotions, use the Resonate Health negative emotions reference list.
    • State your intention out loud and write it down or in your journal to increase the power of this meditation.
  • Location 
    • A quiet and safe space where you will be undisturbed is ideal.
    • As you practice this meditation you can perform it at any time and anywhere you feel comfortable.

Perform this meditation 1-3x/day for the next 7 days, and then as often as desired. *Unless otherwise directed
