03. Supplements-Digestion

When addressing digestion from a multi-dimensional perspective, nutritional integration is absolutely paramount. When we consider digestion, we often think primarily of the stomach and intestines. However, the organ that is oven most overlooked with regards to the digestive process is your liver. Your liver is your primary detoxification organ, regulates carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism, makes bile for fat digestion and also helps in the production of stomach acid. Thus, liver restoration is critical.

Digestive issues such as abdominal discomfort, reflux, indigestion, gas, bloating, diarrhea and/or constipation are primarily caused by a build-up of undigested rancid fats and putrefied proteins along the intestinal lining due to inadequate hydrochloric acid production in the stomach likely due to a stagnant and stressed liver. Viruses and bacteria (typically strep) can be feeding off the undigested rot along the intestinal lining causing further bloat, pain or dysfunction. A major key to healing this phenomenon is to eliminate foods that are creating the build-up and feeding the pathogens.

It is highly recommended for you to consider the Liver Detox Protocol and/or Digestion Protocol to really get the root of your digestive issues.

  • Supplements facilitate detoxification. Thus it is very important that you are properly hydrated to be able to appropriately eliminate toxins through your bowel and bladder. Otherwise they will stay in your system perpetuating dis-ease.
