02. Emotion Code

The Emotion Code was developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson to release trapped emotions in the body that were negatively impacting one's health and well-being. He found that stuck emotions could be connected to all sorts of health issues.

There are excellent free resources here on how to use the Emotion Code which requires you to use a testing technique to work though them. There is also an app.

We have adapted our own version based off of Dr. Bradley Nelson's technique.

Step 1. Identify
  1. The issue you want to address. It can be a physical pain, discomfort, symptom, condition, disease, psychological state, relationship, situation, etc.
  2. The negative emotion(s) you need to release. Refer to the negative emotions chart to determine which emotion(s) needs to be included in this code. You may use your testing technique to identify the specific emotion(s).
Step 2. Locate
  1. Locate the Trapped Emotion: Once the emotion is identified, locate where it is stored in the body. This can be done through further testing or intuition.
    • You may use your testing technique to determine where the emotion is or let your body speak to you. With your awareness open, notice where the emotion may be trapped. You may start to have awareness of a part of your body, for example feeling a knot in your throat or a pit in your stomach, etc.
Step 3. Release
  1. Release the emotion using a magnet sweep: Swipe a magnet (can be the strip of a refrigerator magnet) along the governing meridian:
    1. Start from your upper lip
    2. Up over the top of your head
    3. Down the spine to your tailbone
  2. Perform 10 swipes to ensure you release emotions that you picked up in your lifetime but also those that may have been inherited.
  3. The magnet does not need to touch the skin directly. It can be done over clothing or even a few inches away
Step 4: Reference
  1. Consider the opposite emotional state you just released. Refer to the positive emotions chart to determine which emotion(s) needs to be included in this code. You may use your testing technique to identify the specific emotion(s).
  2. Recall a memory when you felt that positive emotional state and generate the feeling within you. If you do not have a memory, refer to a movie, TV show or some other imaginary scenario to help you call it in to your being so that you can experience it.
  3. Perform this for 5 minutes.
Step 5. Check
  1. Check for Improvement: After releasing the emotion, check to see if there has been any improvement in your well-being. Repeat the process if necessary.
