08. Alignment Beyond Resistance

This meditation technique allows you to connect and align with all aspects of yourself so you may more easily find ease and flow in your life. Resistance is when one or more parts of you don’t agree on something which may feel like you aren’t moving forward in life, are stuck in a rut, or being opposed by obstacle after obstacle.

Resistance can be experienced within all dimensions of you including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual and it can be conscious or unconscious. At the root of it all is our own selves and our ways of being, thinking and feeling. Without harmony amongst all our parts we can create resistance and get in our own way.

You may even resist making a decision, choosing a direction in life, embarking on a new healthy habit or even limit letting yourself feel happiness and joy, for known or unknown reasons. This may be you self sabotaging, allowing fear to get in your way, or moving at an overall slower pace in making decisions that align with what is best for you in life.

Use this technique to align and accept yourself through awareness of your own resistance so you may access clarity and a greater sense of your true resonance.

Preparation Recommendations
  • Set your Intention. Use this or adapt to create your own:
    • “I set the intention to connect to the parts of myself that are resisting my natural way of being so I may align with whatever is in my highest and greatest good.”
    • State your intention out loud and write it down or in your journal to increase the power of this meditation.
  • Equipment needed
    • Paper and pen
  • Location 
    • A quiet and safe space where you will be undisturbed is ideal.
    • When taking a bath or when near or touching water.

Perform this meditation 1-2x/day for the next 3-4 days, and then as often as desired. *Unless otherwise directed.  

    • As you become familiar with this meditation process you have the option of performing it independently without audio guidance.
