07. Unconditional Love Self-Reflection

You are unconditional love.

You are unconditionally loved.

Unconditional Love is the foundation for All Creation.

Unconditional Love is loving exactly who you and others are without specific restraints or compliance with certain conditions. It is pure love, that loves one just as they are, no matter what.

Unconditional Love is imperative to resonate health and align with your true self. We come into this world full of unconditional love as a baby. However, depending on your particular life circumstances and experiences, you can be wounded with scars that impair your connection to this vital source. Your healing journey involves repairing and learning from these wounds.

One way to do this and allow more unconditional love in your soul is to spend time with or observe animals. Pets can provide an immense source of unconditional love for you. If caring for your own pet doesn’t resonate with you then perhaps you could spend time with someone else's. You could even go to a dog park and watch the dogs playing together.  Or you can observe animals in nature such as birds, bees, squirrels, etc. Allow their carefree and loving resonance imprint on yours.

Reflect on the prompts below for ~5-10 minutes, at least 1-2x/day for 1-2 weeks. *Unless otherwise directed.

  • You don’t have to do or change anything, just remain curious about yourself as you reflect on your relationship with unconditional love. Consider how you give and receive unconditional love with yourself and others.
  • Perform this self-reflection again in about 4 weeks to assess your progress and to gather any new information to continue to support you and your greatest good.
  • Optionally, use your testing technique to determine your optimal frequency and duration to use this reflection technique.

  • How might your parents’ childhood and life experience influence their ability to give and receive unconditional love to you?
  • How might other experiences or traumas in your life shape the degree to which you are able to give and receive unconditional love for yourself and others?
  • Are you able to identify any conditions that you place on yourself or conditions within your relationships that do not reflect unconditional love?
