04. Fear Self-Reflection

Fear takes you out of your heart and truth. When you live in fear or with fears, whether you are consciously aware of it or not, it can block the wisdom that lives in your heart.

Below is a list of fears or “seeds of negativity” to reflect on and explore how your fears may be holding you back in life.

Fears typically do not stand alone and have negative or toxic effects that come to light when you stay curious enough to explore the shadows of your fear.

As you illuminate your fears you begin to reclaim your power.

Reflect on the prompts below for ~5-10 minutes over the next 1-3/days. *Unless otherwise directed.

  • You don’t have to do anything or change anything, this practice is focused on bringing your awareness to your fears.
  • Perform this self-reflection again in about 2 weeks to assess your progress and to gather any new information to continue to support you and your greatest good.
  • Optionally, use your testing technique to determine your optimal frequency and duration to use this reflection.

Fear self-reflection prompts:
  • What are your current fears that you are aware of? Use this fear reference list for help identifying what you are experiencing.
  • When do you feel each of these different fears?
  • When you are feeling them and focused on feeling them, how do they pull you out of alignment with the truth of the moment?
  • Reflect on your fears and how you can reclaim your power from each fear.
  • Write a sentence with your fears to help illuminate the pattern.
    • “I fear __________ because it makes me feel ______________.”
    • Examples:
      • "I fear being present because it makes me feel vulnerable."
      • "I'm afraid to set healthy boundaries because I fear abandonment. "
