01. Zip Up, Switch On, Tune In

This is a quick energy technique to bring energetic balance and clear any energetic confusion you may be experiencing. This helps calm your nervous system and brings you into your body.  The above video is audio only. 

You may perform this technique anywhere. It is easiest to perform in a sitting or standing position. You may lie down although you may need to change your position to complete the technique. 

During this technique you may physically touch your body or you may glide your hands just above your body, within ~4 inches, if you don’t want to touch yourself or if your hand is getting caught on clothing. 

Instructions:

Zip Up:

  1. Take one hand and guide it to the area just above your pubic bone. Then slide this hand up your body to just below your lower lip. Continue to trace your body from just above your pubic bone to the area just below your lower lip. 
  2. Breathe while you perform this 3 times.

Switch on:

  1. Switch on 1:
    1. Bring your right hand to your navel to cover your belly, with your fingers together. 
    2. With the left hand bring your fingertips and thumb to the area just below your collar bones on both sides of the body. 
    3. Breathe while you perform about 20 rubs or circles switching on these areas. Alternate the circles as desired. 
    4. Switch hands and repeat the same while you breathe. 
  2. Switch on 2:
    1. Then bring your right hand to your navel to cover your belly, with your fingers together.
    2. Bring your left thumb to the area just below your lower lip and your pointer and middle fingers just below your nose/just above your upper lip. 
    3. Breathe while you perform about 20 rubs side to side, switching on these areas. 
    4. Switch hands and repeat the same while you breathe. 
  3. Switch on 3:
    1. Bring your right hand to your navel to cover your belly, with your fingers together. With your left hand in a gentle fist, bring this to the lowest part of your back. Gently rub your fist into this area, your entire sacrum, activating this lower area of your back body. 
    2. Breathe while you perform about 20 rubs or circles switching on these areas. Alternate the circles as desired. 
    3. Switch hands and repeat the same while you breathe. 

Tune in:

  1. Bring both of your hands to your ears. Gentle grab your ears at the top and rub your ears in circles moving top to bottom covering the entire ear. Provide gently tugging to your ears and pull them away from your head. 
  2. Breathe while you rub your ears for about 20  - 30 seconds, or until you feel your ears have released all tension.
  3. Perform one last inhale in and exhale out and notice how you feel now.
