01. Walking

Walking is the fundamental human movement pattern characterized by opposing upper and lower body rotation generating centripetal force, just like the toroidal flow of energy! Walking is dynamic movement and nourishing through the experience.

Walking without compensation or tension within the postural system is resonating health.

When was the last time you walked without carrying something in your arms, hands, or on a shoulder? For the best walking experience place any needed items in a pocket or fanny pack so your arms and legs are fully free to swing.

    • Wear supportive and comfortable shoes like walking sneakers.
    • Choose your favorite route or explore a new area to walk.
    • Select even, uneven, hilly, flat and terrain of all types to walk on. Whatever you are most comfortable with.
    • Go at a comfortable pace or a pace where it would challenge you to hold a conversation.

Perform free walking daily for ~7 - 30 min or more as desired. *Unless otherwise directed.

    • Optionally, use your testing technique to determine your optimal frequency and duration to perform.
