05. The Spot-Clicks and Tick-tocks

The spot is where the tip of your tongue should gently habitually rest except when eating, drinking or talking. It is located just above your front teeth on the very front of your palate. A great way to train the muscles of your tongue to find the spot is to perform “clicks and ticks.”

Instructions:

    1. Move the tip of your tongue to the front of your palate just behind your front teeth and make a “click” sound.
    2. Move the tip of your tongue to the front of your palate just behind your front teeth and say “tick-tock.”
    3. Repeat ~15x. Complete 1-3 rounds.

Perform 2-3x a day. *Unless otherwise directed

  • Optionally, use your testing technique to determine your optimal frequency and duration to perform.
