05. Emotional Stress Release Technique

This technique helps you clear any emotional stress that you may be experiencing in the moment or after a distressing situation. It helps center yourself while allowing the emotional energy to move and pass through your body. This helps you acknowledge the energy without allowing it to consume, overcome or control your reactions. 

Use this technique to find clarity in any situation and to see all the choices available to you in any circumstance and stressful experience. This allows you to choose how you want to respond and provides an opportunity for you to choose to support your highest good. 

Instructions:

  1. Place your fingers on either side of your forehead, using your fingers and fingertips so the middle of your forehead is open. 
  2. Think of the emotional stressor or triggering experience and set your intention that as you hold your head, the energy and emotions release and your body is calm and regulated. 
    • This trigger may be from a physical symptom as well as mental or emotional. 
  3. Hold with gentle moderate and comfortable pressure for at least 11 seconds and up to ~3-4 minutes. 
  4. Gently breathe as you hold the pressure and the energy moves and clears. 

Perform this technique anytime you are experiencing any emotional stress and/or as often as desired. *Unless otherwise directed

  • Optionally, you may use your testing technique to determine the optimal frequency and duration is best for you at this time.
