15. Law of One Tarot Self-Reflection

The Law of One Tarot is a resource for gaining insight into the evolution of your multidimensional human experience.

The archetypes displayed on the cards serve as a foundation for understanding the nature and meaning of human life.

There are basic philosophical experiences to be had within the body, mind and spirit that are familiar to all humans. In having awareness of these foundational patterns, we can utilize the experience and align our energy with a deeper truth.

According to the teachings within the The Law of One, the tarot images offer a resource for learning and teaching the processes of evolution.

When viewing the Law of One Tarot deck the goal is for you to receive the general concept of the complex perception they project, while allowing for awareness as to why the chosen card(s) may be coming up for you right now in your life and as it relates to your intentions.

There are seven basic philosophical foundations for mental experience, seven for bodily experience, and seven for spiritual experience, culminating in the archetype known as The Choice.

By studying these archetypes, you may begin to recognize the deeper patterns that guide experience and spiritual evolution.

The goal is not precise interpretation, but rather a general perception of the concept complex that the archetype represents.

Important Notes about the Tarot Images:

According to the Law of One material:

• The archetypes represent conceptual foundations of experience
• The images themselves contain cultural distortions
• The general concept complex is what is most important

Distortions such as astrological symbols or additional imagery are not essential to the archetypes themselves.

Law Of One Tarot Self-Reflection:
Step 1: Set Your Intention

Before selecting any archetype or card, take a moment to set and reflect on your intention.

    • You can be specific to a current life situation, question, issue/problem, etc. For example:
      • “I set the intention to pull the card that is in my highest and greatest good to receive right now that relates to my dissatisfaction in my job .”
    • You can also be more open where you set the intention to receive whatever is best for you at the time:
      • “I set the intention to pull the card that is in my highest and greatest good to receive and reflect on right now.”

State your intention out loud and write it down in your journal to support your reflection. Allow your awareness to settle and take a few breaths with your heart before proceeding.

Step 2: Use Your Testing Technique

Use your preferred testing or intuitive guidance method to determine how to proceed with this reflection. Test the following options to view the deck.

      • Option 1: Follow the recommended sequential order by Ra
      • Option 2: Study a single archetype
      • Option 3: Study a pair of archetypes
Step 3: View and Reflect

After determining what option (1, 2 or 3) is best for you right now, continue to use your testing technique in that section to determine the exact card(s) to study. The cards are organized for you below with additional reflection questions to support your contemplation.

Take note of your reflections in your journal so you may expand on this practice over time.

This reflection practice is designed to help you:

• Gain awareness of archetypical patterns within your life experience
• Reflect on how mind, body, and spirit patterns may be expressing themselves
• Recognize catalyst and transformation within your current life circumstances
• Deepen your understanding of the archetypical mind

The archetypes are not the foundation of evolution, but rather a tool for grasping the nature of that evolution.

Option 1

Sequential Study Recommended by Ra:

The recommended study method offered within the Law of One material presents the archetypes in the order listed below. This method allows you to compare the mind, body, and spirit archetypes within each category and begin discovering the relationships between them.

Option 2

Single Archetype Card Reflection:

Use your testing technique or choose one archetype to contemplate.

As you view the image:

• What is the heart of the image that stands out to you?
• What general concept does this archetype evoke?
• How might this archetypical pattern be appearing in my current life experience?
• Is this archetype revealing a catalyst, an experience, or a transformation I am moving through?

Focus on the general perception of the archetype, not the small symbolic details.

As you view the cards, consider the relationship between the two archetypes.

• How do these archetypes interact with each other?
• Do they represent a movement or progression in experience?
• What relationship between catalyst and experience may be appearing in my life? etc.
• What transformation may be taking place?

Observe how the archetypes form patterns within the mind, body, or spirit cycle.
