01. Hand Reflexology

Hand reflexology is practiced in a variety of cultures and is widely used today to not only relax, calm down and feel good, but to clear blockages and restore appropriate energy flow throughout the entire body and all the organs. 

Each aspect of the body is represented somewhere in the hand and by providing massage and stimulation to specific areas in the hands, you are supporting your entire being.

There are specifically trained hand reflexology specialists out there, you may feel the desire to research some in your area and go in person. If you are ready to receive the benefits of hand reflexology conveniently and on your own time, intentionally massaging your hands or receiving for a loved one may be exactly what you need! You can use this technique for things like neck pain, congestion, digestion, etc. 

Instructions:

  1. Use the reflexology maps to apply pressure to certain areas for ~30 seconds 2-5x/day or stimulate all of your relaxes by massaging your hands 1-3x/week for at least 3 minutes or more as desired. *Unless otherwise directed
  2. Reflect on:
    • How different parts of your hands feel
    • Any differences between the right and the left side
    • If there are any tender spots and where you may habitually avoid pressure?
    • What spots connect to the different organs and systems of your body?
    • How may this relate to giving and receiving in life?
