06. Conscious Offering

A way to give back, say thanks and show gratitude. 

You are a part of the greater whole so it is important to understand your ways of being, thinking and choosing are always connected to the bigger picture. 

You have your own way of connecting to this sense of One-ness. Some feel it most in nature, some know it when they are with groups of people and some experience it when they meditate or do yoga. Your way of connecting and ultimately naturally being of service to others by being yourself is to find your own way of consciously offering. 

This is unique to you and will change during different phases of your life. 

Conscious offerings can be something you start for yourself, that you do for another or the Earth, knowing that it ultimately serves the greater good in some way. 

Browse the following 3 categories of conscious offerings or use your testing technique to determine what offering is best for you to practice at this time. 

 

1. Ways to give thanks to the earth and universal source energy:

  2. Start some eco-friendly practice: compost bin, consistent recycling, etc.
  3. Support eco-friendly businesses and practices, at home, work or community 
  4. Plant a tree
  5. Tend to land: work on a garden, plant flowers
  6. Talk to nature you see, everything is alive. Say hello to the trees or plants you walk by every day. 
  7. Thank the Earth in some other ceremonial or ritualistic way, like saying a prayer, speaking what you are grateful for, etc.

 

 

2. Ways to give thanks to yourSelf:
  1. Choose environmentally aligned and genuinely nourishing foods and beverages
  2. Move your body in some way daily 
  3. Optimize your breathing 
  4. Think positive thoughts about yourself

 

 

3. Ways to give thanks to others, your community:
  1. Offer your undivided attention and time to a friend, loved one or even a stranger
  2. Say “thank you” verbally or written
  3. Give a gift to demonstrate thanks and appreciation
  4. Support community bonding events, partake in activities in your unique way, embrace a role that resonates with you 
  5. Initiate new programs or activities that share your passions and support others

 

Complete a conscious offering (no matter how big or small) or make set plans for the next action step within the next 3 days and then as often as desired.
