02. Wafer Slide

This technique helps to work on correct jaw movements while eliminating any potential interferences from a misaligned bite.

Equipment needed:

Instructions:

  1. Place a bite wafer between your teeth. Let the bite plate rest in between your teeth without biting down on it. 
  2. Slide your jaw forward about ⅔ of your full range of motion and then back your resting posture. 
  3. Then slide your jaw to the right ⅔ of your full range of motion, returning to your resting posture. 
  4. Slide your jaw forward about ⅔ of your full range of motion and then back your resting posture. 
  5. Then slide your jaw to the left ⅔ of your full range of motion, returning to your resting posture. 
  6. Complete 10 cycles.

Perform 2-3x/day and then as often as desired. *Unless otherwise directly
