14. Lip Trace Pucker and Smile

This technique helps to train your lip seal so that you habitually keep your lips closed. The only time your lips should be apart is if you are talking, eating, drinking or exercising to the point where you need to breathe through your mouth to get enough air.

Otherwise, your lips should stay closed while you breathe through your nose. If you have trouble maintaining a lip seal you may have a lip tie.

Instructions:

  3. Next perform a Lip Pressed Smile by pressing your lips together so you sense equal pressure on all sides and then smile as wide as you can while maintaining this pressure.
  4. Hold for 10 seconds. Complete 8x.

Perform 2-3x/day. *Unless otherwise directed

  • Optionally, use your testing technique to determine your optimal frequency and duration to perform.
