04. Left Heel Sense

Feeling, sensing and referencing your left heel, is a simple technique that has positive and profound effects on your ability to resonate health and Be your true self. 

Your left heel provides an important sense of contact with the ground and by referencing this area of your body, you more easily stabilize your postural system including your ability to utilize new muscles and experience a new felt sense inside your body. 

By simply feeling this area you are using more efficient and optimal postural patterns to support yourself. A new way of feeling, being and expressing yourself may arise when sensing this area in a variety of positions and activities throughout your day.

You may also use your testing technique.

 

Option 1: Place a heel stabilizer in your left shoe only. Particularly focus on feeling the outer left side of your heel. 

Option 2Purchase a gel heel cup stabilizer and cut a small hole a nickel-quarter coin sized shape out of the outer bottom left heel to expose a small circle of skin.

Option 3: Place a piece of stretchy sports tape to the bottom of your left heel. See pictures below of various taping options for more or less tape/heel sense. *Use < 25% stretch or tension on your tape.

Utilize this for increasing your left heel sense for ~½ the day, taking a break only as needed, for at least the next 3-4 days or use as long and often as desired. *Unless otherwise directed.

  • Optionally, use your testing technique to determine your optimal frequency and duration to perform.
