Feeling and sensing your left hamstring muscles is a technique that has positive and profound effects on your ability to resonate health and Be your true self.

Your left hamstring muscles provide a sense of grounding support so you more easily feel stabilized in your postural system, activate new muscles and experience a new felt sense inside your body. A new way of feeling, being and expressing yourself may arise when simply sensing your left hamstring in a variety of positions and activities throughout your day.

Instructions to sense your Left Hamstring muscles:

  1. Cut 2-3 pieces of stretchy sports tape into long strips.
    • They should be able to cover the length of the back of your thigh with <50% tape stretch/tension.
    • You may also cut one piece of tape in half, length-wise, leaving about an inch at one end, so the thin strips stay connected and you cover more angles when applying the tape.
  2. Place the tape along the back of your left leg outlining your hamstring muscle, as shown in the pictures. Start at the knee and pull up toward your buttock where your hamstring muscles attach on the pelvis.  *Use < 50% stretch or tension on your tape.

Use this technique 1-3x/week for the next 3-4 weeks and then as of as needed or desired. *Unless otherwise directed.

  • Optionally, use your testing technique to determine your optimal frequency and duration to perform.
  • Use as long and as often as desired but be mindful of skin irritation.
