08. Jaw Protrustion + Laterotrusion

This technique helps to retrain your cranial bones and jaw relationships. This facilitates realignment of your cranial and jaw bones into a more neutral position which also helps to realign your postural system below.

 

Instructions:

  1. Place your index and middle finger against your chin.
  2. Press your chin forward into your fingers without movement. 
  3. Keeping your chin pressed forward, slide your fingers 1 inch to the right side of your chin and press into them so your jaw is now also activated sideways going to the right. 
  4. Hold for 15 seconds.
  5. Then repeat for the left side.
  6. Keep alternating sides but always start and finish with your chin moving forwards plus to the right. 
  7. Complete 5 cycles.

Perform 2-3x/day for the next 1-3 days. *Unless otherwise directed.
