09. Ipsilateral Lip Pucker and Tongue

This technique helps to retrain your cranial bones, jaw and tongue relationships. This facilitates realignment of your cranial and jaw bones into a more neutral position which also helps to realign your postural system below.

Instructions:

  1. Pucker your lips as if you were making a “fish face.” Your teeth should be slightly apart. 
  2. Maintaining this position, move your pucker to the left while your tongue also slides into the left upper molars and palatal arch. 
  3. Hold for 15 seconds.
  4. Repeat on the other side with your pucker moving to the right while your tongue slides into the right upper molars and palatal arch.
  5. Complete 4-5 each side, always starting and finishing with pucker and tongue moving to the left.

Perform 2-3x/day for the next 2-5 days and then as often as desired. *Unless otherwise directed.
