06. Cave + Jaw Laterotrusion

This technique helps to retrain your cranial bones, jaw and tongue relationships. This also helps to realign your cranial and jaw bones into a more neutral position which helps to realign your postural system below.

Instructions:

  1. Place your tongue in the cave position with the tip of your tongue on the spot, sides of your tongue inside the upper molars and back of your tongue on the soft palate. 
  2. While maintaining this position, move your jaw slightly forward and then side to side about ⅔ of your full range of motion.
  3. Complete 15x each side, always starting and finishing with your jaw moving towards the right.

Perform 2-3x/day for the next 2-5 days and then as often as desired. *Unless otherwise directed.

  • Optionally, use your testing technique to determine your optimal frequency and duration to perform.
